Major Tiffany A. Morman, US Army (Retired)

Background

Tiffany Morman is a native of Milwaukee, WI where she graduated from Juneau Business High School with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Her family encouraged her to join the military and she was the only one of five siblings to do so when she joined the U.S. Army during Desert Storm in 1991. It was at her first duty station where she met a soldier from Washington, DC and they soon married, making her old last name a thing of the past. The two young soldiers went on to become the best supportive life partners and continue until this day as residents of the City of South Fulton.

Tiffany went on to graduate from college and made Distinguished Honor Graduate at Officer Candidate School while transitioning from being a strong and decorated NCO to becoming a responsible Commissioned Officer. While serving as a Fighting Quartermaster and a tactical Logistician, Tiffany deployed to Somalia, Haiti, Kosovo, the Turkey/Syria Border for Operation Enduring Freedom, two trips to Iraq for 27 months in support of OIF, Kuwait for another two trips and she also supported her husband and his troopers during five deployments as well. Her last duty station was as the BRAC/S4 Officer for Third Army (ARCENT) at Fort McPherson, Fort Gillem, Shaw AFB, and Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

Tiffany’s highest honor is when she was chosen to command troops during Combat in an award-winning maintenance company. It is notable that her actions were recognized with two Bronze Stars, she is the humble recipient of the Honorable Order of Saint Martin, as well as during two tours with the Cavalry she truly earned both Silver and Gold Spurs. One of her most shiny moments is when her team of “92 Alphas” competed for and won the Supply Excellence Award at Fort Bragg which led to then SSG Morman being selected as a Warrant Officer based on tons of fine leadership and stellar mentorship.

Continuing to be guided by her servant heart, Tiffany became a Charter Member of the Veterans Helping Veterans, Inc. and serves as a consulting member on the Board of Directors, she is a Lifetime member and serves as the Secretary of the Robert F. Greene 555th Parachute Infantry Association, Inc., Atlanta Chapter (RFG555PIA), “Triple Nickles” where she was Trooper of the Year locally, regionally, and nationally, she is a Lifetime Member of VFW Post 6449 as well and has servied in many positions within the Post. Continuing on with her culinary passion, she served 5 years on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), and tying into her limo life, she also served as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Greater Atlanta Limousine Association (GALA). These positions all led to being nominated and accepting her current position as Treasurer within the Feeding GA Families Board.

Tiffany and her husband, Marlon, have been married for 32 years and they own and operate 3 small businesses. They also love to travel together to experience new foods and cultures.
